The Best of Vitamix and Nutri Bullet I’m in love I’m in love and I don’t care who knows! (quote from Elf).My husband has the Nutri Bullet which he loves. My sister-in-law has a VitaMix which she loves. And now I have the Nutri Ninja Blender which I love and think I have the best of both worlds!I’m posting this review on 10/30/2014 and so the photo posted for this may change but right now, it might lead a customer to think they are getting two different blenders but it’s actually one base and 3 different “tops” – a square type container (72 ounce pitcher) that reminds me of the VitaMix. And two “bullet” containers – a 24 ounce (small 1-2 servings) and 32 ounce (family). There are two different blades – one for the “bullets” and one for the “pitcher.”Basically, they all do the same thing. They can all crush ice so you can make one margarita at a time (but why would you?).An AMAZING colorful recipe book with easy directions and photos is included. This…

Very well made, tries to do a lot of things. First of all, from the picture shown for this item (and even most of the pictures on the actual box), you might think you’re getting some sort of Siamese-twin-duo-blender-appliance that has a dual base and can blend two things at once. But that’s not the case as this is just a regular single blender that looks like one half of the picture. This is honestly pretty misleading and they need to have something to illustrate that what they’re showing you in the picture is two views of the one device and not a multi-headed monstrosity. [Update: At least online here they seem to have gotten rid of the confusing pictures so yay]What you do get is a nice heavy-duty blender with a base that connects differently to two types of container. On the top of the base there are two concentric rings that connect to the containers. The outer lower-speed ring which the regular pitcher connects to, and an inner higher speed (5x faster it looks like) disc that mates with the “cup” style…

Love my new Nutri Ninja Blender! After watching the demos for the new Ninja Duo blender system at International Food Blogger’s conference this year, I was pretty excited to find out that I had won the drawing to receive one of these bad-boys for myself! My old blender has seen better days, so the timing couldn’t be better.I have a slew of recipes I want to try out, and the unit came with a beautiful little cookbook, but I’d promised my daughter that the first thing I’d make would be our traditional blackberry-banana smoothies, which we make from the berries we pick here on our little farm. While probably not the fanciest thing I’ll make in the new Ninja, it’s a treat we make often here, and would be a make-or-break recipe for any blender in the Perkins’ house.Needless to say, the Ninja Duo passed the test with flying colors. It’s triple blades and Auto-IQ blending made short work of my smoothie ingredients, finishing up in…
